Before wearing
Clean hands: Wash hands thoroughly with a mild, fragrance-free soap or hand sanitizer to ensure they are free of dirt, oil, and bacteria. Pay particular attention to cleaning between your fingers and under your nails, then dry them thoroughly with a clean towel or paper towel.
Check the lens: Remove the lens from the care solution and carefully observe it in sufficient light to check whether the lens is broken, cracked, deformed or precipitated. If there is any problem, the lens should be replaced immediately to avoid damage to the eyes caused by wearing damaged lenses.
Eye moistening preparation: Before wearing, you can first drop a few drops of eye moistening liquid to moisturize your eyes, keep your eyes moist, facilitate lens wearing, and reduce friction between the lens and the eyes.
In use
Correct wear: Put the lens on the finger tip, confirm the front and back of the lens, generally speaking, the front is a bowl, the back is a dish. Hold the upper and lower eyelids of the eye open with one hand and gently place the lens on the eyeball with the other hand to ensure that the lens fits well with the eyeball and there are no bubbles or wrinkles.
After removal
Timely cleaning
Rinse lenses: Immediately after removing contact lenses, rinse them with a fresh solution to remove tear proteins, oils and other dirt from the lens surface. Place the lens in the palm of your hand and gently rub it between your fingers for at least 10-15 seconds on each side to ensure that all parts of the lens are fully cleaned.
Use special solution: Special contact lens solution must be used and cannot be replaced with tap water or other non-special liquid. The care solution has many functions such as cleaning, disinfection and moisturizing, which can effectively maintain the cleanliness and performance of the lens.
Immersion disinfection
Soaking time: Put the cleaned lens into the mirror box with fresh care solution for soaking, and the soaking time is generally not less than 6 hours to achieve full disinfection and sterilization effect.
Change the care solution regularly: the care solution in the mirror box should be changed every day to avoid the growth of bacteria in the care solution, which will affect the cleaning of the lens and eye health.
Mirror box care
Regular cleaning: The mirror box should also be cleaned regularly, generally at least once a week. Rinse the inside of the case with a treatment solution or special case cleaner to remove dirt and bacteria, and then dry with clean paper towels or air dry.
Regular replacement: The mirror box should be replaced every 3 months or so, even if it looks very clean, there may be bacteria and dirt residue, regular replacement can effectively reduce the risk of infection.
